I like it as well as anything in recent years. I am leaning towards really liking it. I can't wait to purchase some and start putting a Set together.

I like the design, but it does seem a little anachronistic.  This design with the neon looks like it would have fit better in 1961 as a sign at a diner while driving down Route 66.

That Acuña card with no borders looks great, but the apparent base design on the right above just shouts Bowman to me. Particularly with the giant "First Card" above the logo. I'm not enthusiastic.

I wonder this will make it easier for me to skip flagship and save for Heritage later in the year. I usually feel the opposite, but this?

Kinda the opposite reaction for me. I think the full bleed parallel sounds great in theory but in execution no longer feels like a baseball card at all, certainly not a Topps card. Maybe with a full back in hand it might be different but it’s like if Topps did a throwback Broder set. Off-putting.
