So if you missed it COMC and eBay made a big announcement about entering into a commercial agreement that included a significant investment from eBay into COMC. What does that mean? Who knows? COMC posted on their blog about it and used a lot of words to say almost nothing, using terms like "Enhancing your experience" and "optimize joy for collectors".
You can read the COMC blog post here: https://blog.comc.com/2023/11/29/important-comc-update-our-next-phase-of-growth/
and the eBay press release here: https://www.ebayinc.com/stories/news/ebay-announces-commercial-agreement-and-investment-in-sports-trading-card-company-comc-strengthening-commitment-to-collectible-enthusiasts/
What's funny is COMC and eBay have partnered for seven years listing cards on the eBay website for sale. So I'm curious what all those buzz words mean? I doubt it means the services are going to get any cheaper to sell. COMC takes forever to process submitted cards and almost as long to ship. I'm hoping the investment will mean that both of those bottlenecks finally get resolved. COMC is hiring a robotics engineer. https://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ats/web.php/jobs?clientkey=DB4B2E90705AD5F0635FBD274EAB4268&session_nonce=be5259ee92d2df50c29b567686ca2896
Any thoughts?
