Hi,
Anyone here a collector of error cards? A good strategy or no?

First, a recommendation. You are posting multiple threads at once asking question. Nothing wrong with the postings themselves, but you've posted so many so quickly that you are pushing your own threads off the front page
Second, yes, plenty of ERR/VAR collectors here. I collect both types if the ERR is a true one and not a wrong back/blank back/etc.

I'm an avid error/variation collector and I think it is a great strategy. Gives me something to look for in the junk wax era and brings me back to my childhood when looking through hundreds of 1990 Donruss cards looking for the variations. I have strict rules for what I collect which helps me focus on what I "need" and that helps as well. For instance, I only collect licensed product from the companies flagship set. So I collect 1990 Donruss and all of their variations but not 1990 Leaf just as an example.

Always looking for baseball variation/error cards and anything Garrett Whitley or Ian Anderson

griffey423,
I'm not understanding the distinction in the 90 Donruss vs 90 Leaf. Was Leaf not a licensed product? What does that mean, or why would that prevent you from collecting Leaf?

To what jimetal said, you're flooding. Posting back-to-back-to-back-to-back is considering flooding. Please stop.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

C2Cigars,
Oh, I'm sorry. Am I breaking a rule on the forum? Are you a moderator?

"Flooding" is considered a "disruptive" act per the Forum Rules:
https://www.tcdb.com/ForumRules.cfm
The following is a list of the forum rules for the Trading Card Database, LLC. By using the services provided on tcdb.com, you agree not to do any of the following: ... Engage in antisocial, disruptive, or destructive acts, including "flaming," "spamming," "flooding," "trolling," and "griefing”;
While your curiosity and enthusiasm is welcome, creating a new Forum thread for every question you have is not ideal. I suggest A) create a single thread with multiple questions where users may respond to some or all; B) search past Forum threads which may provide answers to your question(s) [keep in mind it is not necessary to reply/"bump" an old thread from years past].

Yes, it's against the rules, and yes, C2Cigars (and myself) are forum mods.
