I highly doubt anyone else will ever upload another photo of this card. If someone does have a non-slabbed version please replace my scan. Why should we not be able to have photos like this in the database for reference? I do not want to crop the card to the border because it would get flagged and removed eventually by the narrow-minded. Please let stuff like this stand. Our community will be better off for it.
If any of my photo approving privileges are removed because of this I will leave this site for good and watch AI destroy it.

I cropped it. And while I'm sure the image quality could be better if not scanned in a slab, it's likely good enough for the site. If somebody has a better scan then they can replace it.

And it should be tagged for replacement. It doesn't meet the site's requirements.

For anyone tuning into this thread, please brush up on the Image Guidelines [1] and FAQs related to Images [2]. This helps limit the consistent crap I have to deal with in the Crop Help queue.

Thanks for posting links to the faq. I finished organizing and cataloguing a bunch of stuff the past few weeks and noticed a bunch didn’t have images. Figured I would take some time to upload as a lot of them are pretty cool cards and also to help the overall site. I’ll make sure to read the faq before scanning because I know my printer/scanner combo is 5-6 years old and want to make sure I don’t go through the effort of scanning if it doesn’t meet the guidelines.

Just about any flatbed scanner will scan to the site's requirements. Mine is also a few years old now, and I scan at 600 dpi (which I could go a lot higher, but it makes the image too large). Even at 600, sometimes it's larger than the site allows, so I have to reduce the size (ever so slightly) so it is just under the max.
Try at 600 dpi and se how they look. As long as you're not taking phone pics, we can help you out! (And are willing to help you as well.) All the best!

Also, as a pointer to the OP, the card doesn't need to come out of the slab to be scanned properly, you just need to use the right kind of scanner. Looks like you used a CIS (Contact Image Sensor) type scanner, but to get a good scan in the slab you need to use a CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) type.
