Just unpacked my latest repack picked up at Walgreens, and it delivered again on cards I didn't have or hadn't seen before. High points included the first 91 Topps glowbacks I had seen (which gave me an excuse to use the UV flashlight I just bought!), and what I think might be 87 Topps Tiffany cards. I say "might" because I'm wondering some marks on the fronts of the cards.
A couple of the cards have some spots that look like they could be small bubbles under a cellophane or lacquer, or maybe they're marks from separating bricked cards. The other thing that I noticed is that the colors are darker, at least compared to the scans in the database, like a Phillies logo that's almost black.
Like I say, these repacks are always fun.

Collecting White Sox, Royals, and 1978 Topps Baseball. Trying to build a multi-sport HOF frankenset. Done is better than perfect.

I love repacks. I don't have any local stores that offer them, unfortunately. Always some unusual card that makes me glad I bought one, when I do find them.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Your Dollar Tree doesn't have repacks?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I used to enjoy fairfield but recently they have taken packs out of the boxes. Kinda makes me sad when I buy them.

When life has you down buy a pack of cards and realize you overpaid.

The repacks around here took a dive when COVID started and they haven't recovered.
Bought one each of football and baseball recently. Football was a loss - heavy on Sage. Baseball wasn't muich beter, but it at least had some good players: Clemens, Sutton, Morris, Willie Wilson, etc.

I saw the best cards of my generation destroyed by creases, soft cornered hysterical edge wear, dragging themselves through the hobby shops at dawn looking for a top loader...

I love repackaged! I used to be able to buy them off Australian Amazon, but they stopped selling them. Last US trip I had no luck finding any. I love the variety you get in those things.

I found out that one of the kids in my youth group worked a summer job repacking cards. I pestered her with all kinds of questions, but she didn't know anything about cards. She thought is was funny that people knew anything about them, especially since that person was her youth pastor.
My local store would sell mystery bags and mystery boxes that they would put together themselves. Each one would have at least one relic card, so you could count on doing okay with them. My son, who never did get into collecting like I thought or hoped he would, was a big fan of the mystery bags. The shop also has a consignment bid board. Every week there would be three or four boxes on the floor beneath the bid board also up for auction. They would be full of cards box purchasers would toss the base cards in while searching for big-hit SN cards. Since my son didn't care about the value part of collecting, I'd bid on these boxes and get them for $6 or $8. Then I'd get the same bags that the card store used and repackage mystery bags to bring home to my son every few days. Saved a lot of money that way.

Generally, the condition I look for is: 1800s-1929 - G and up (1+)... 1930-1951 - VGEX and up (2.5+).. 1952-1967 - EX and up (5+)... 1968-1978 - EXMT and up (6.5+)... 1979-1994 - EXMT/NM and up (7.5+)... 1995-present - NM+ and up (8.5+)
