I have a question about what when some sets exists in multiple different prints over the course of time? Do we add new prints as parallel sets, or do we add new prints as new sets where only difference is the year in the set title?
Example #1 (Japan)
In Japan there are various different children curry sets and each contains a one collectible sticker (usually around 40 in the set). Each curry flavor has a different sticker set (for example Pokemon curry). Now, over time, these stickers get replaced by either new set of 40 pokemon or same 40 pokemon just differently ordered and in different poses with newer art. Would those then require two sets, one with original year, and the other with the year the new stickers were included in the box, or would new set simply be added as parallel set or included set of some sort?
Example #2 (Yugoslavia / ex-Yugoslavian countries)
Long time ago (some 50 years ago) there was an album called "Animal Kingdom" (not in English, of course) and it contained 250 animal cards in total. It was release by Kras, which was/is biggest sweets company there and when you filled the entire album, you could send it to them and then get huge, and I mean huuuge box of sweets sent back to you (or go to the big company directly and they verify your album, cross all the images so you can't reuse them, and give you the big box surprise... which is how I got it and know about how this works ;))
Anyway "animal kingdom" are small chocolate bars, flat and maybe the size of two cards put together. Each contained one card on the back. Originally the art on those images were drawings, then in late 1970s they replaced the set with live footage images. Then in 1980s (that's when I was collecting them) they replaced them with new drawings. It was always same 250 cards, same order, you can mix either version old or new in your album, and while they were treated as stickers, they were not stickers and you had to glue them to the album yourself. Fast forward after the Yugoslavian collapse, the albums were renewed and this time these cards were stickers, and new albums were made but same animals, same sticker numbers. Not sure how many changes there were after, I believe now they are back to live footage again.
Now, seeing how this is the same set, but images on the cards changed several times, but it's the same company that released it (post and pre Yugoslavian collapse), how would such a set be added and how would those sticker variations be added? As alternative sets or included sets or entirely different new sets?
