I don't know the answer. I answered this because no one else was helping and I think it's terrible when posts get nothing from anyone. Even if it's been posted before by someone else. I'll answer even if I don't know just to be in on the post so I can learn later. I did find an old post that discusss 2022 Score and a possible May or even as late as July for release.

When the manufacturer hasn't published much information it's unfair to pin it on the membership here for not providing information. How can anyone provide enlightenment if no one knows what is going on?

Oh boy here we go....
I said I was pinning the fact that no one answered at all. Now your answering to be a jerk about it. Whatever.

Sorry, but CardSlave is the "JERK" here. jim answered with the real answer. WE don't know what the card manufacturers are doing and it appears that even they don't know what they are doing. Panini is the problem with this release and it has nothing to do with a single person on this website! Panini is constantly falling behind in their own schedule for releases!!! Just for a small example: 2022 Donruss NASCAR wasn't announced until February (after it should have already released) and was still released a month later than they said. 2022 Chronicles Racing was announced in May for a June 22nd release. It was bumped 2 weeks later for a July 22nd release and then bumped again 2 weeks after that for an August 22nd release. When they announce a product only 2-3 weeks prior to release and then bump it by a month at a time TWICE, that clearly shows that Panini is at fault and NOBODY on the planet (even Panini employees) can predict a real release date.
I'm sure the Score product will release this year, but will anyone care by that time?! The way Panini and Topps are running things since the pandemic started, it's not at all surprising that Fanatics swooped in to steal everything away from both of them. Sadly, I think things will just get worse as prices will continue to skyrocket for products that aren't worth the money. Fanatics already did that before getting involved with cards. Panini and Topps are already pricing themselves out of business with the recent spike in the hobby interest and pushing away the collectors that helped build and continue those companies. I honestly couldn't care less about actually buying boxes or packs of anything released in the past couple of years just because the manufacturers suddenly think the same old crap is worth a bunch more money now. The stupid investors can buy up all that crap and sit on it. They'll never get their money back unless flipping right now but they still end up with a bunch of crap they'll never get to sell. This hobby has become complete garbage for the past 2 years as far as new products go, IMO.

Skyrocketing prices and Fanatics swooping in and scooping everyone, then buying Topps...those are the reasons I'm mostly concentrating on non-sport and gaming cards now. I've alway liked non-sport, and I really enjoy the artwork on gaming cards. And there are soooo many different types of each that I can collect to my heart's content!
Oh, I still collect some sports cards, but not as eagerly now. It IS possible to make card fans lose interest by pricing outrageously.

Why are you even on this site then? You don't like retail crap? I do. Some of us do. We don't care about "getting our money back", you pompous person you. Awe poor baby doesn't like how cards are now. Awe poor baby is mad at a member for asking a question. Awe poor baby. Baby calls people "JERKS" for no reason. So bitter yet you answered the question, didn't ya? I'm glad to be a jerk. I'll keep buying retail junk and be a jerk. Thanks
