If you are building sets what do you do with these cards? Have they been sitting in a hot car or something? To me this is almost as bad as rough corners. Surely they arent some kind of variation.

Perhaps exposed to direct sunlight for quite some time?

Good song. I do remember it. They have no smell at all but I suppose that can dissipate over time.

I have had to get rid of 92 topps with brown edges as well (bought in yard sale lots).

it will be interesting to see if the topps cards from last 10 years or so with white borders have these issues in due time
