I've been to a few shows/conventions and I'll say it depends on the size of the show and the location.
Also definitely on multi-day shows/cons the second day is usually more laid back.
I noticed the bigger cons tend to have a flow as far as foot traffic crowd size that makes it feel rushed.
At smaller shows I had time to ask the vendors of the tables if they mind if I pull up a chair and flip through boxes.
I also tend to find better items or deals when you have time to chat, and the table runner gets to know what you're after.
I was digging through a box of non-sports stuff while chatting with the guy and I mentioned that I brought stuff with me to trade but it was so hectic I didn't wanna bring it in to the show. He said let's go take a look and we agreed upon an even trade about $300 both ways it was a great show.
When I went to 3 rivers comic con it was look at table move to next table look at table move to next table.
I was only there for about 2 hours before I felt like the big money was already spent before I got there.
I had more fun talking with other fans outside of the venue than inside the building itself.
trade priorities are 95 Fleer Ultra Spider-Man gold foil sig parallels and 95 Batman Forever Metal. happy to do 10:1 or more depending on rarity.
