If they aren't going to use game or event worn jerseys anymore, could they at least use colorful patch/jersey pieces to make the cards look better?

They were about $60-70 to RENT one for the race at the last 2 races I attended (2018 at the Roval in Charlotte and 2019 Martinsville October race). Your scanner from the 90's might not work with today's radios. But I really don't know that for a fact. I do know that I'm not paying a bunch of money to RENT a scanner headset when my $5 pocket radio works just fine for me to hear what is happening. The scanners are more expensive than most seat tickets cost!!! Cup Series tix from 2015 to 2019 cost me $40-60 per ticket depending on the seat level.

I don't care WHAT the card companies want to call the pieces in the cards, but I would love to see more color in all pieces inside of cards. A card with a piece of jersey or whatever is just not interesting if it's all black or all blue or all white or all purple. The color doesn't matter if it is just one color. But the companies want to keep the sweet stuff for limited parallels. Sadly, that "limited parallel" has rapidly become a 1 of 1 patch card or booklet!!! That's why the multi-color MEMs are almost non-existant now.

My take on this comes from the Bible. No Gods or idols.These people put their clothes on the same way we do.
