Lucky that you're stateside. If you were in Canada, it would be worst. They take one to two weeks just to move it from their Seattle area location to their Canadian address in Vancouver and that's what before the pandemic.

Let me give some hope and maybe clarification.
1) If buying a single card, buy though the Comc website (it's about 20% less than direct on ebay - but you have to be signed in with an account). They will ship a single card in a week for the same $4.99 as on ebay. I just did this a couple weeks ago on a card I wanted asap.
2) Large item shipments are improving. I have an order scheduled for 12/21 shipment and watch the items to be shipped count every few days as I am looking for certain cards anyway. My current shipment for about 200 cards was requested on 8/27 and was initially set to ship 12/30. The card count is down over 200k in a couple weeks and my date is 12/21 and I am betting it will ship before Thanksgiving. My point is the card count (Items ahead of my order - just looked it up) is dropping more rapidly than in the last 12+ months. Comc seems to be very conservative with their estimates right now and for good reason. But I do see actual progress.
Be Good, Greg

Thanks Greg. That is encouraging news.
I ordered a 1957-58 Ron Sobie basketball cards via Comc. That name probably means little to most, but he's a Chicago native who played high school basketball in Wisconsin at long-closed St. Bonaventure Prep. He went on to star at DePaul and in the NBA.
Trying to get him into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. He's deceased, but still deserves the honor, IMO.

Very nice scoop. You can buy a card on Comc and leave it in your invetory and then ship an indivual card at anytime for the $4.99. I should have added that part. Shipping one card does not need to be instantaneous.
Good luck getting your friend that industion.

A quick COMC update as a few people requested it. The items ahead...count keeps dropping steadily. Yesterday COMC just took two months off my ship date. From 12/21 to 10/21. It looks like COMC is gettting some confidence back that their operations are starting to get into working order again. This is a shipment of around 200 cards. Yay!

In April I placed an order for 500 cards and didn't get it til the 3rd week in August. And that number ahead of order is strange because it goes up and down and my cards shipped with 300,000 things ahead of me. Very strange.

My previous shipping request for 150 cards in March took 3.5 months. My point was that the deliveries are finally tightening up. And the count will go each way daily depending on the number of individual card requests and ebay sales. Ebay and single (well really around a 5 card request) will be given priority over large shipments like ours. I just had one card shipped in a week that I needed asap. But I check the "count" once a week and it has steadily declined each week. This past week had a large drop and was the second improvemnet for this expected delivery.
Just my guess, but Comc probably gets flooded with ebay listings when large new releases come out and everyone is looking fro a quick turn that first month and that affects their overall shipping. But that's me surmising...
Thanks, Greg

Hate to be the other side of the discussion, but in the 10 days since I posted my order status, the number of items ahead of my order dropped by about 120,000 (to 192,571), but my estimated shipping date actually moved BACK almost a week (to 10/2/2021).

I live in Canada and packaging up my first batch to send in to comc. There is an option to send it to a Canadian address and another for the USA address. It's obviously a lot cheaper for me to send to the Canadian address.
I've tried searching how that works and it sounds like they drive the Canadian shipped cards down to the US site every week or so. Is that true? If so, would I be better off sending to the US address to get a quicker turnaround on their processing time? (not sure how much covid travel restrictions to and from Canada/USA are slowing things down in this instance) Or do they process them at the Canadian site as well?

I'm not a Canada shipping expert, but I have heard that their Canadian shipping option works well.
