I have recently traded with a 3 yr member who had 100% feedback rating and some of them were from member's who I trade with regularly and trust. Anyway it was 77 of his for 83 of mine. When they arrived the were stuffed into 1 row of a 3 row page and no cardboard for protection. When looking at the cards every card had some sort of damage ranging from corners to creases to pieces missing to cards that look like the were in a war. see pics

some of the corners are probably from shipping but there is no way the creased and damaged others he didn't know before he shipped.
So I told the member I wasn't happy with the trade and we need to see what we can do to correct this. so far all I have heard from him is " I’m sorry but I can do nothing. Really sorry."
There was nothing in messages saying cards were damaged . So would any of you accept this trade?

I understand that being one of the issues with the PWE. The main issue I have is the traders reply to the damage. It seems like he has done this style before with no issues, but if there are you should be a little more respectful in my opinion. With a trade that big I would probably be doing bubble mailer as a package to avoid any damage.

I literally just dealt with this on my other account the guy sent me 53 1993-94 upper deck basketball and I can't use ANY of them because they are damaged and it wasn't from shipping them either and he expects me to pay him $15 I'm not going to trade/pay for damaged cards unless they person who has them actually SAYS they are damaged otherwise............ -_-

That doesn't appear to be due to "packaging" only. It would appear to be prior to shipping in quite a few instances from what I can glean from your photos.

" You should be a little more respectful in my opinion." I don't know what I have domne that isn't respectful? I have purposly left his name out of it. I have almost 400 trades with members and probably 90% are PWE's and I have never had any problems before.

I feel the same as everyone else has so far. This person likely knew exactly what they were sending.
Recently I had a trade where my trade partner did not use any cardboard protection and the corners got dinged up a bit. I let him know that I would use cardboard in the future to protect against it, but I wasn't looking for any compensation. The difference in my situation was that my trade partner had great character, took it in stride and ended up sending me a few more cards while using the packaging style I recommended.
I guess half the fun of this is the unexpected!

I think OverkillKid meant the other trader should have been more respectful.
