I had ordered off eBay a 2003-04 Topps Lost Rookie Brett Hull card for a couple bucks, but instead recieved someone elses Frank Thomas lot. Returned the Thomas lot, never got the Hull, buyer cancelled my sale and refunded me.
Still looking for that Hull.

I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

I actually just got a 2012 Prime Signatures Jim Plunkett when I ordered a 2002 Greats of the Game Auto Jim Plunkett. The buyer sent the correct card and let me keep the 2012 as well!

Recieved the 90 Fleer Ripken error (Ripkin) instead of the corrected version I had ordered.

Last year I had gotten my Box lot from SportLots. The day I got it I also got a message from them saying I may have other people's orders accidently put in there. Lo and behold I did, about 30 envelopes not meant for me. I inventoried the order numbers and sent them all back. Not only did they reimburse my shipping, I got a $50 credit from them for my "effort". Yeah, that lasted a couple minutes......

I once got the wrong eBay winning. Mine was one card that was about $20. Instead I received a package with 50 or so Greg Maddux cards in it. They were all relics and autos. I found that auction in the seller's completed listings. It had a $500 winning bid. I notified him, and he was very grateful. He said he never would have figured out where they went. He sent me a pre - paid return label and I returned them. He then refunded my purchase in full, which I received a couple days later. It pays to be honest.

Since this thread happened a couple of weeks ago I had it happen to me. I bought a card on eBay and the seller sent me the wrong card. Before I even got on he told me that he made the mistake and I could keep the card. The actual card I ordered showed up two days later. Funny thing is that I like the person on the wrong card more, I really only went after the other one because it was SN 25/25 and was from an insert I didn't have in my collection.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. As a seller I have done that once. A feller in Florida, I believe, won a Jerome Bettis card. I sent a Jerome Bettis card but the wrong one. I immediately messaged the nice customer later that same evening when I discovered my mess up and told him to keep the one I sent and the correct one would be on its' way the next day.

Not really a wrong order, but it involved a seller's mistake. I few years ago I participated in a group break run by a member of another card forum. In the days and weeks after the break, forum members were posting their maildays and thanking the guy who ran it, but I still a hadn't received my cards. A few more weeks passed and the guy messaged me to say that he found my package in his wife's car. Her had given her a bunch of them to mail and mine fell under the seat. As an apology he said he'd send me my package plus "something extra" to make up for the delay. He sent me a hobby box of 2013 Gypsy Queen baseball, from which I pulled the Frank Thomas 1/1 Original Art Patch card. I sold it years ago, and I wish I had at least scanned it for posterity.

Two years ago on Ebay 1 puchased (from China) a 2019 Topps Definitive - Dual Auto Fred McGriff / John Smolts SN35. I received the card in about two weeks. 2 or 3 days later I received from the same seller 2 factory sealed boxes of 2019 Topps Five Star - MSRP: $139 per box. Very Srange! I felt a little guilty, that I never reported it. Not so much any more. Did I mention - from China?
