To ask the OP questions.    Yes flippers have purchased my cards.  Approx 5% of them.   But only after I could not sell them in 9 months and I dropped the prices. (way down)   Yes I check and see if they are still there.  one is now down to what I sold it for and has been on the site for close to 2 years.

I also watch a few other cards.  One I have been watching for close to 4 years.  It has had 4 diff owners now.   (that I know of)  It is still too high for me.  Why am I watching this card?  Because it was the only one and price was real high.  As it dropped to a price I was willing to buy a flipper purchased it and up the price.  Now there are 2 of them and both high priced.  The site shows none have sold in the last 4 years

Yes they encourage flipping.  They love that 5% every time it flips.   I have no problems with the fillpers but do get frustated at times when they get to a card before I do.

cnangle's last post hits it on the head.   The monetary aspect of the hobby is getting in the way of really enjoying it for a lot of collectors.   I for one enjoy getting cards to people that want them in their PC.   That is why I perfer members making offers to me.  Also that is when selling I ask them to make an offer.   Yes I get lope sided offers and lowball offer but most have been worked out.  Getting cards to members that enjoy them is the main reason I'm still around.
