My first pack of cards.

Hello everybody. I'm new on here. I got an email telling me to write about my first pack of cards. I love football cards.

My very first pack(it was a box) was a complete set of Topps 1992 Football Cards I got at a yard sale for 2$ when I was 7 years old. When I got these cards I didn't realize how much I would grow into this kind of collecting or how much football cards would mean to me. So being a 7 year old kid with cards... I didn't take care of them. They were all throw under my bed, Soaked and deformed, ripped, and crushed. The ones that did survive, my mom threw away because I didn't take care of them properly. I guess the only good thing is that they were Topps 1992 and not anything special.

I didn't get any cards again for another 10 years.

I did get another set of Topps 1992 on EBay for 20$ when I was 18. They are taken care of properly this time.

Welcome on board. Always great to hear people's stories. I would have said my first pack of cards was 1991 Regina rugby cards but looking at the release date of products it must have been 1989-90 Topps Ninja Turtles.
