Recently I started adding to this site my large Collection of Panini Soccer/Futbol stickers which I used to just track on CL or by albums where I was able to get one for. I have thousands to sort through as even have to sort not only by years but where they are from and this where the nightmare begins.

The CL on this are put there by different people, most that collect Soccer/Futbol are in different country so while a person lives in UK, they think they have the "Correct" Interntional set, while someone in Mexico has a different interntional set. Most are not noted here as such and just listed by example "2006 Panini World Cup Sticker". Well Panini put out many different versions of this as not only the Backs "Grey, Black, Blue, Pink, Green" can be different there is occasion where the front have been different as well, cause beside doing an International printing they do editions for special countries, some are noted by a few are not.

Quality control section at Panini has been missing for years but recently getting better at their off sites such as Brazil. You can find the same stickers with Made in Italy, Brazil, USA maybe in others as I do have stickers packages I have bought in a lot of different countries, South Korea, Chile, Kuwait, Mexico, Canada, US and many places in Europe by not everywhere Panini is sold, so I do have alot of research material to see that there a no show in that dept. I have recieved new packages that were stored in bad places were the stickers just stuck together and the colors on front are so faded not sure if they should be displayed. Lets move to the cut of some of them, This is a huge "Why did it leave the print shop?"  The centering is so bad on some of these wouldn't be worth the effort to scan to put on here, either cut some of the card off or to the point where is should be a border but none showing.

Now lets move to Collectors on this site who do scans. This is one of my biggest nightmares as I have spent countless hours on here doing cropping of already scanned stickers and some so bad as WTF didn't you see that half the picture is not even here. There are some who post Multiples of the same BS over and over even when told to stop and look at what they are doing. I have sent IRs for watermarks as well as if the Set clearly states Blue back why are they posting a Red or Black.  I have gone out and bought another scanner as my first few attempt were less than spectacular. I am glad people are adding to the immense catalog of Panini Sticker but they should at least try to make the effort easier on the rest of us. If you have the card do both sides. I don't really have the time to keep going behind you and going into my collection just add the backs of that set you want to have all the fronts done, I am trying help out in adding on other sets as time permits, I even suggested giving any points I have to satify your need to collect them. There are alot of smart people on here that can help with any question about this site as well as technical about how to use the cropping as well as how to center. I know this isn't going to sink in to a few of the people doing this but if it changes just ones plan of action, I will feel this went somewhere

Not falling on deaf ears here, but I'm probably not your target audience. :)

Problem with some of these "image uploaders" is the fact that they are grabbing the images from other locations on the internet and uploading them - without checking for watermarks or using software to straighten or color balance. This is why there is a large contingent of members here who consistently say that "one should only upload scans of what they have". Admin has spoken out about this in a much older thread, and basically if the image is a non-watermarked scan from another site, it can be used. It should be "cleaned up" to meet the guidelines here (and that doesn't mean doctoring it to try to remove a watermark - if it has a watermark, leave it alone).

I think that is what you were up against on these stickers - someone who grabs stuff from other websites without looking closely at what they were doing, apparently looking for one more point on the their TCDB totals (because front scans only are worth 1 point, while back scans for cards that have front scans are worth 2 points).

If the "international" sets had multiple versions scattered throughout the world, and could appear in any packaging, we would need to check wit5h Admin, but I would suspect we would make it one giant set with multiple variations of each sticker (as that would truly be how it would be for someone opening packs in any single location).
