Can someone with a nearby Meijer store snap a photo of what the Opening day packs with the Purples parralells look like?  A price would be helpful too.  Do they still come in the blister packs, or some other way?  How many Purples per pack/box?

Good question..  I did purchase a 2020 Opening Day Hanger Box the other day at Meijer's.  I didn't buy so much for the purples, but more cause it was there and I was there (meeting at the right time!).  Anyhow there was nothing on the hanger box different from other places I had seen them.  And there were no purples in the hanger box.  So, not sure which ones yield any purple.  Curious to know answers to your questions also.

Haha!  I didn't know what Meijer was, I thought it was some variation of the color purple.  

I guess I have to get out more, well after this corona thing cools down.

We are supposed to be getting a Meijers here by us soon, but might not happen due to a local city causing a zoning issue :(

I've bought hobby cases of Opening Day for the last 2 years, the only new product I have been collecting, and figured this year I would take a trip to Ohio to buy a lot from Meijer.  Contacted a couple Meijer stores to see if I could buy a case, but it appears that they actually don't control the product and an outside vendor negotiates the shelf space to sell it and stocks it themselves.

That's how most chain stores do it if they carry cards. Walmart, Target and any remaining Kmart's all rent out the space to outside vendors. Stores like Big Lots, Five Below, and Dollar Tree just stock whatever they happen to acquire on their own. I don't know what Walgreens does b/c I didn't even know they had cards until somewhat recently.

I miss the days when you could just pick up some packs at the register in a grocery or convenience store.
