I am new at baseball card collecting and was given a large quanitity of baseball cards. I would like to know how can I tell between a Roger Clemens 1986 TOPPS TIFFANY Baseball Card #661 and a Roger Clemens 1986 TOPPS regular Baseball Card #661? I am trying to sell rgese cards and I found there are a few variations of the Clemens card.

tiffany would normally have a white background and a regular would have gray. the topps traded series would have a similar white background, but the number would include a t on the end to specify that series

Thank you for such a fast reply. I checked the cards and I'm out of luck, no Tiffanies.
Thanks again.

Tiffany also has a nice glossy finish on the front, and as previously stated, the reverse is on white card stock, as opposed to gray. (under the hot pink, of course).

Thanks for the Beckett article. It make it very clear on what to look for. So far I have found no Tiffany cards, but I'm just starting to sort out these cards.

I understand there can be some confusion, but honestly, can't you look at the front of the card to tell? The glossiness of the tiffany cards is similar to Topps produced cards of today, whereas the non tiffany card has the same finish as everything produced from 1952 until about 1991.
