Hi all,
I am planning on selling around 100 cards on Comc, and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to sell efficienly while still making a profit.
Thanks,
JD

I like that site alot.
I do not sell a lot but every now and then
My biggest suggestion would be to look up what cards you are considering sending to see how many copies are already listed on the site.
My other suggestion is to check condition closely for modern cards...as they will reject ones with condition issues, or charge an extra fee to list condition notes

ditto.. see how many are already listed for that card...condition condition condition.. any dings and you might as well forget it unless its a rarity...
consider the price.. if you decide to sell something for $1.00 its going to list 1.25 which includes the site fee. and I think anything over .75 cents you get charged a very small storage fee over a the months time. but cards will sell, you just need to see what the others are selling for and price in that range.

Since I have all my Fleer Stickers out, thought about selling some those. Any thoughts?

Hello Bob, same thoughts apply to stickers, not sure how many are listed already but you can search some of them to see

I have sent in and sold a few 100 cards. Keep in mind the fees when sending in cards and pricing. .30 + processing 5% transaction , and 10% check out, and storage fee after 3 months when cards are over .75 If you want to run a sale that will cost you. Oh yes you will have to paid taxes on the money you will need to pay for the processing fee.
So pick your cards carefully If you have the right cards you can do pretty good.

One thing that I suggest is stay active when it comes to setting the price. Card prices can change pretty quick and one day your card is the cheapest and the next day it is the most expensive.

Thanks for all the great replies.
One more question. How are these fees compared to a site like Ebay?

I have not sold on EBay in years so I'm not sure what exact diff is. I do know it is less but you have to do the work listing, packaging sending and dealing with the customers.
Just to let you know : Your cards on COMC are also listed on EBay and Amazon. (not always they put a lot of cards on EBay/Amazon just not sure how they do it.) Both of mine were on EBay last week.
