Four words....THIS SITE IS AWESOME!!!
I have looked around quite a bit today and I have a couple questions for everyone.
- How active is the trading/buying/selling on here?
- How does one gain “points” for a “score”?
I’m sure there will be more...but that’s all I have for now. I can say that I like this site more than another trading site of which I am a member!!!

Hello and welcome!
The trading on this site I think is pretty active. To get an idea you can click on completed transactions link at the bottom of page. This shows the number of trades completed on the day as well as who is trading. It will give you a pretty good idea as to the volume and potential traders once more of your collection is loaded into the system.
You earn points by submitting scans of cards with missing images, submitting checklists for sets which done have on, submitting packaging images, entering data about players, fixing errors in the checklists and I’m sure other things as well.
Welcome to the site.

1. Trading, very. Buy/Sell, I haven't personally seen a lot.
2. Uploading scans, submitting checklists, and I'm sure I'm missing other ways.

Welcome! Trading is as active as you want. I’ve done 120+ trades in about a year. There’s tons to learn and do on here and a great group of collectors of all stripes.

Welcome to TCDB! Trading is as active as you want it to be. Depending on your wants and what you have to trade, offers can come often as there are a good number of members who are willing. Also when in doubt throw a question out and you'll be surprised how often you will get a response quickly. There's lot to see as well as do so take your time and get yourself setup.

I also send a welcome, this is the best site around for card collectors. There is so much to do here with your cards and to improve the site. As others have said, trading is as active as you want it to be and this site has the best trade tools to match wants and tradeables that I have encountered. It may take a little time to enter all your traders, but ask away for advice for others what works best for them on how to most quickly enter your collection, traders, and wants. As for points as others have stated their are ways to earn "immediate points" by entering scans and checklists. Check out the permissions list on the bottom left of any page (right at the bottom link is under the account header) to take quizzes and gain more access to editing the site.

Welcome! Everyone has given you lots of great advice already, I will just add that you should add everything to your tradelist that you have to offer. When I entered mine, I was surprised to see the most common set ever in my first sport was the first set to get requested in trade- I entered more than 200 of them and only have about 40 left, which totally surprised me.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Welcome to the site!
I think trading is one of the best parts of TCDB. The only part that can be time consuming is listing your collection and marking what's for trade and what you want. Once you get a good chunk of your collection listed, you can start trading by searching wantlist and tradelist matches. Might take a while to get up and running, but it's well worth it.
As for the points, I personally don't keep track of them.

Welcome to the site! I think everyone has already covered most of what you need to know and asked about. The links at the bottom of any page on this site are a great resource. Check them out and you'll learn everything you need to know about the site itself. If you have any questions, always feel free to ask on the forum. The most experienced members and collectors are on the site at all times of the day and night, so usually answers come pretty quick.

Best site on the web, I don't ever go a day without checking it at least 5 or 6 times. Also, if I may say so, one of the best group of people, a really great collecting community. Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy.
