I was born in 1984... I printed the checklist and will update it tonight...

when I complete a set i want to put them in binders.. so do I penny sleeve them first... and do they offer binder sleeves what will hold a onetouch.  ?   I ask because I want to put the Clemens, McGwire, and Puckett RC's in a better case 

What Would You Do?

I usually get pages that have 4 pockets and put higher star cards in harder top loader and put in 4 pocket page

I put a note in the slot for that card number that card is in star page or something like that

I do not put cards in sleeves before putting in binder, but some may

birth year set is a good start to set building

Like Mark, I also don't sleeve my cards before putting them in pages/binders. There is an exception though. All vintage cards (pre-1980) get sleeves before they go in a page. But not all vintage cards go in pages.

As for a card in a One-Touch in a page, that seems like expensive overkill. A card placed in a penny sleeve, then toploader, then sealed in a team bag placed inside of a plastic page is plenty of protection. One-Touch cases are much more expensive and are plenty of protection on their own. I do place my One-Touch cases inside of team bags to protect the case from scratches, but they don't go in albums.

In the situation of a card in my Player Collection not being in the album with the rest (due to being cased or graded/slabbed), I also do like Mark said and put a note in the right spot telling what the card is and where to find it.
