I am new to this but pulled this last night asking if it is worth sending to PSA to be graded
If this is not the correct place to post this please tell me where to for the next time

Absolutely not. With a bazillon produced and can be bought on ebay for 99¢ shipped, it'd be crazy to pay for grading. And IMHO, 99¢ is crazy high. And the people who bought the graded ones on ebay must be insane; it's not even his RC.
Also, I don't think Card Identification (Mystery) is the appropriate category for asking this type of question. I think the Buy/Sell/Trade category would be more appropriate. Others opinions on this?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

No. I don't like submitting cards that must get a 10 or they're a money loser. That card is a PSA 7 at best with none of the corners perfectly sharp, edge chipping (especially noticable on back upper left), and 70/30ish RL centering on front.

Beyond all that's already been mentioned, it's not a Griffey RC anyway. (He had rookies in 89 Bowman, Donruss, Fleer, and Upper Deck regular releases.)

Just to give you another opinion....
A quick search of recently sold '90 Griffey cards....
PSA 10: $20 to $50....some sold for more...don't know why there's plenty "10's" to be found.
PSA 9: $5 to $20
PSA 8: $2 to $5
I'm not an expert but I don't think your example is a "10". It is off-center top-to-bottom and left-to-right. It also looks like two of the corners are slightly soft, there are a couple print marks on the back and some edge chipping. You might get an "8". Probably not a "9" most likely a "7". I would guess a zero or very low chance of a "10" though.
Edit.....I missed the edge chipping on the back that cl_kyle mentioned. I think you're looking at a "6".

I would not have a card graded unless I knew it was valued over $100. But that is just me.

Just to add on: the only way I could see having this graded is if you felt it had a good chance at PSA 10. The centering on this card wouldn't get you a PSA10.
