Hi all. Here is my question for the day (lol). I have been adding a few autographed cards, and notice that some have the AU designation, right next to the players name. When I add an AU to a card it seems to put it at the end of the listing, (to the far right). How should this be done? I would like to be consistant with the data base. Thanks and Collect on!

Cards that are issued with an authentic autograph have an "AU" designation (Note) next to the name. If you add a card to your collection that you designate as autographed, then the "AU" is at the far right in your collection listing. This means the card in your collection has been autographed, but was not issued as an autographed card. Unless, of course, you took an issued autographed card and had it autographed a second time.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Something else you may want to take note of, if you have an issued autograph card, make sure it has the AU designation in the note field for that particular card or it will not show up under the autograph card section in your collection. I found that one out after wondering why half my autograph cards weren't showing up under my autographed card report in my collection. So if you have autographed cards that aren't showing up there, to get them to show up, you will have to go to the cards page and add the AU designation to the note field.

Thanks for the response. I guess my prime example would be a 2000 Fleer Greats of the Game - Autographed card. I have a few, but none had the AU designation. They were all issued autographed from Fleer. I added the AU, but it went to the end, as to designate a card which wasn't previously, but now is autographed.

I think he needs to click the "Turn Editing On" button first. If he hasn't hit that, there is no option for editing a note, right? And he would need to gain permission before he had access to that, if I remember right. All that seems so long ago!
Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
