“ Card is slightly bland, but nice portrait of Mr. Justice. ” -Theron_Nett

“ Nice and simple. Not too much going on. Not bad for a 1990 minor league card. Also, it's David Justice, a player I've actually heard of from one of these little minor league sets. ” -jdogg1228

“ He delivered a lot of justice in his days. Too bad Star cards didn't have a longer run! ” -tinyshogun

“ Nice Star Card. ” -captkirk42

“ Star received little respect. I suspect it was the simple designs; not "flashy" enough for the rabid collectors of the big companies' junk. I for one like the simple, elegant design. ” -C2Cigars

“ I don't know if it is just me, but I really like the simple designs that Star used to make. No need for anything flashy, just a card for a kid who likes certain players/teams. ” -cardcollector65jw

What does a waiter/waitress say after giving Dave his meal?

On another note, would be pretty cool if he played on the same team as Aaron Judge.

Action cards are much better than anything else.

That was one of the unique things we were able to do at Star with the multiple-card sets of single players (or even when we'd do 2 players in a set), is we could use varied photos throughout the set, and we generally chose a nice face shot for the first card (which was used as the checklist card and was on top inside of the poly bag), and the rest of the shots were mixed with bating, fielding, and sometimes on the bench or in the batting cage. They weren't really meant to be looked at on an individual basis, but in the entirety of the set. One card usually had the complete minor league stats, another one would have the complete major league stats (for the "longer tenured" players, we might split the MLB stats across cards), and then cards with write ups about different events, milestones, or statistical accomplishments.

@UKBoogie - Most likely it was either my mom or me. My dad was the sealer and counter (we were paid per set we collated, sealed, and took back to the warehouse).

Early days of David Justice Braves mania he did a card show where I had two of these sets to get a few cards signed. He had never seen them so I gave him a set in exchange for signing a few bats for free. Star sets pretty much underrated.

I always liked the simplicity yet effectiveness of the Star Co. sets.  I remember the huge prospect and rookie buzz this guy had.
