Honestly...I don't see a problem with what was done here. You'll never know if you don't ask...and how did the asker know if they were good cards or if they had been put in bicycle spokes, or spent time under water, which in that case he would have been getting the short end of the stick?
I prefer to trade equal number of cards for equal number of cards, but it doesn't HAVE to be that. I've traded extremely lopsided in the past, and I've also traded autographs for a checklist card. Simply put, I wanted the checklist more than I wanted the dupliacte autographs.
I make it very clear that I will only trade duplicates. Any card I get is part of my collection and is NOT available. Yet, I get asked at least every other month if I will sell parts of my collection...the answer is always no, but I don't begrudge the people for asking...one guy even blocked me on Facebook because I wouldn't sell him one of my cards, and at least one other has cut me off his friends list...their loss.
VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
