Hi,
Been around here using TCDB as a resource for ID-ing variations/errors but this is my first post in the forum. It was highly suggested to me that I turn here when looking for specific obscure cards.

Looking to work on my 2014 "Master" base set. I have an extension list of missing cards for the sparkle (aka "twinkle," not red foil), sabermetric stats, photo variations, and future game uniform variations.

With a kiddo on the way in July my funds are limited but I'm still open to seeing what you have (Unfortunately people w/ #1 Mike Trout w/ Sparkle on Left Foot graded PSA 10 for $5000 are going to have to wait a bit).

Any and all help on this adventure is much appreciated. I thought this would be a fun and quick side quest but putting together a master set of 1959 AND 1969 Topps were nothing compared to this excursion!

Hi and welcome. It would probably be in your best interest to add those cards to your want list, and then it would take other members seconds to determine if they have any of these for you. I know I opened a bunch of product that year, and may have some oif these, but it would take me longer to look the stuff up than it would for you to add the want list.

I know this doesn't help, but I used to have duplicates of almost all of these.  Have moved them all in recent years, with the last batch of update sparkles cards not all that long ago.  Good luck with your search. Some of the update sparkles are really tough to find even though the players aren't all that spectacular.

Per @Vrooomed I have updated my "Wantlist" for 2014 and moving on to other years (updating my complete master sets from 57, 59, and 69 first). 

@Griffey423- I've been having trouble finding regular series sparkles and sabermetric cards. I may have stumbled onto a Giancarlo Stanton sparkle on eBay that I had the seller swear up, down, and sideways that the card pictured was the card being sent (had to do that on a few '59s when I was piecing that master set together, too) so we'll see what Mr. Postman brings me. I think a big part of the problem is that the sparkle is so random, so easy to miss with the eye if you're not looking for it, and no discernable difference in the code on the back of the card (like they have today), that I'm guessing a lot of them found their way into people's junk boxes that are collecting dust, their fire pits, or the local landfill. I know I had to go digging through my extras boxes when I found out about them.
