Trying to complete the master set for both sets. If you could help with trades for variations, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Which ones?
Ill save you a bit of time on a few of them...
1988 Topps Comstock 778 Yellow Letters (very rare - only 3-4 sales ever and usually upwards of $300)
1987 Topps Davey Lopes RB 4 1985 Copyright (no copies confirmed to exist to date)

I must have really lucked out then getting my Comstock card for $10 about eight years ago.
The yellow letters that are being referred to are the player's name, not the team. It is considered a "print defect" by the site and therefore not listable.

These are my want lists for both sets to complete master set. Awesome information learning about my childhood sets. 1988 Topps was first one I ever got. Christmas if I remember correctly...

That is because the checklists here are incomplete. There are many variations in both of these sets (and other junk issues) that TCDB will not list but have been officially recognized and cataloged for decades by various hobby publications.

Very lucky!
And it is very much a print flaw, in the same sense that the 1990 Topps Jeff King and Frank Thomas are: a recurring print defect that was distributed widely enough for a significant amount of collectors to take notice, unlike, say, your average fish eye misprint. The fact that it has circulated on wantlists since 1989 and is listed in the old SCD annual lends a sense of legitimacy to it for E&V collectors. Dick Gilkeson and Bob Lemke knew what they were talking about (for the most part).
