I'm looking to move the junk era cards that are taking up lots of space and not really worth sitting on much longer for the trading of a few here and there. So I offered up to the group that if they have needs in the junk era and want a bunch to take a look this week and I am happy to trade them before I pull them off the trade list and get rid of them.
I don't recall which offer was from you; but I have had many offers come thru of people must think I am trying to "clean house" on everything on my trade list for basically nothing in return. Which I am happy to do with the junk era. But when people are asking for every serial numbered insert and offering a small stack of Twins junk era in return-that I'm not so interested in. When I offer trades I try to offer inserts if I'm asking for inserts, serial number if I'm asking for serial number, only offer junk era if I'm asking for junk era. I try to offer what seems fair. I have had many come thru that seem way off. And I've had some turn out great-example I have 50 some cards from the junk era heading out to a guy that needs them for his collection for 3 cards in return to me. That's what I'm trying to do with this thread-get the cards from the junk era that need homes to where they can go. And I added I would eventually be doing the same with the 2010s decade of the Topps flagship, maybe some thought I meant all the serial number inserts-I meant the base commons. I am happy to trade the inserts etc, I just try to trade in return for inserts of my want list.
Hope that helps.
