My internet journy brought me here. I am not a collector, my departed brother was and I have about 8000 baseball cards from '52 to '66, mainly Topps. Some '53 color and B&W Bowmn and some of the TV cards. They are for sale. To start with, 1966 Topps and the SP #500 cards. I'm looking at the median pricing on this site and wondering if that is a good reference to value? I have quite a few of these, was in a deal on them but when it came down to the wire I was about double the offer pricewise. Using the median value as a guide my prices were lower. I based my valuation using the 130point website. The cards are in great condition, centering issues are the biggest problem on a few. What are your thought on median pricing as a guide?
