I think this is the first card from one of my player collections to make COTD.  Always enjoyed seeing how much fun Hendu had playing the game.  He was like the opposite of stone faced Harold Baines.

Looking quickly I thought the front was a gold card due to the photo

the other Hendeson on the A's, the one that doesn't talk about himself in the 3rd person.

I was at Game 5 of the ALCS when Hendu hit the 9th inning two out, two strike HR to prevent the win for the Halos and a trip to the WS.

Donnie Moore gave up the dinger and would end up murdering his wife in a murder/suicide.  Meanwhile, the Red Sox would advance to the WS so that Bill Buckner could commit the unfortunate error that changed the trajectory of his entire life....
