Year: 2011
Set: Bowman (Rate)
Card: #214 Brandon Snyder
“ The camera focus on this card is clearly on the jersey and not on the face. The clearest part is the middle. Other than that, intense pose. But, why does he look like he's playing 1B? Outfielder with Utility skills? ” -Vonnegut37
“ As much as I hate modern Topps, Bowman is right there with them. The designs are a little more original but the loads of parallels and that most of the players pictured are "prospects" or rookies that end up going nowhere like Mr. Snyder here who has played in the majors since 2010 and never played over 40 games. He actually played for the Braves in 2016 and I didn't remember him at all. ” -davidhandberry
“ So focused on anything that’ll come his way ” -Mscott713
“ Bowman continues to be one of the most confusing products to collect. Between Bowman, Bowman Chrome and Bowman Draft, you can really forget which cards are from which set if you're not paying close attention. Especially if you're yanking cards from dime boxes at shows. Thankfully, TCDB exists to make it all much, much, MUCH easier! ” -mkaz80
“ I'm sure it some optical illusion, but this card feels heavy at the bottom, and out of balance. I think it may be the green areas in the corner of the expanding part of the black colored frame. It's still a decent looking card. Don't remember much about this player. Seems Mr. Snyder was traded to the Rangers organization after the 2011 season. ” -CollectingAfterDeath
“ Not a huge fan of early 2000s Bowman cards. Too many prospect players that never made it to the bigs. I probably should have this card anyway since he is an Oriole and I collect them as my second "homie" baseball team. Plus I did a little poking around into his career and noticed he is now part of the Nationals minor league system (second time for that) so I should put him onto my PC RADAR. ” -captkirk42
“ Just a regular Bowman card. Not a prospect insert, or a color parallel, or a refractor, or a combination of all those. Just a regular Bowman card. I'm not sure I know what to think. ” -switzr1
“ Love this Bowman set. Black frame with the offsetting colors before the photo. Brilliant work. ” -derekjlariviere
