“ I was never a fan of the fake signature effect on cards when they were clearly separated from the rest of the picture. He's a player that grinded it out in the minors for six seasons, going all the way up to AAA-ball, but could never make The Show. He runs a baseball camp in Naples, FL now. ” -NSEndo

“ Many mainstream sport sets contain dozens of parallel series and insert sets. To make a master set, it is not exceedingly difficult to build. I remember the old days in the 1970's where sets had subsets as part of the main set, and USUALLY an equal chance to pull a given card. Today, those subsets are hard-to-build subsets and they can get very expensive. Vintage Series had like 600 to almost 800 in the main set. Many base sets are much shorter, but consists of dozens of insert sets - very difficult to figure out.
