Random Card of the Day |
Saturday, July 1, 2017Year: 2016 Set: Topps Bunt - Platinum (Rate) “ This set was super-popular among the blogosphere last year but I am not a fan...just another cut out photo in front of a computer generated background. I do like serially numbered cards, though...you could say I'm addicted to them and would not be exaggerating. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ Bunt 2016 was the best product Topps put out that year. They went overboard in the 2017 release with endless parallels (still a good product though). Good design, reminds me of 1996 Circa Boss, I like the big team logos. Only one gripe - the card numbers on the back are minuscule. ” -ShoTime
“ Great player, not a bad card, not a great card. ” -muskie027
“ Bunt is a nice starter set to get kids into collecting, but I must admit, I really liked the set too. Not that Topps needed more sets, but this one was a good addition to their portfolio. ” -jupiterhill
“ Ah, Bunt. And a parallel at that! I know Topps releases ten-zillion baseball sets every year, but Bunt is one of the newer ones I actually like. Cheap to collect, decent design, etc. Honestly, this should take the place of Opening Day, which is essentially useless minus the neat inserts. ” -mkaz80
“ My fantasy baseball STUD!!! ” -carthage44
“ Can't go wrong with a numbered Bryce Harper Card. ” -TradingCards964
“ I've never seen one of these, Bunt, and am not impressed at all. Might have a number on it but maybe they should have stamped "mediocre" instead. ” -NJDevils
“ I'm guessing this is the PHYSICAL Version of the BUNT card? One of my Homie players for my Homie team. Will I ever have this card myself? Might like to, but probably won't ” -captkirk42
