“ One of my passions is tracking down information on team-issued photos. Fortunately, I found friends in the hobby who share my interest. Up until about 20 years ago, teams would issue photos of players and coaches for use by news outlets. Many were marked up with grease pencils or white-out like paint to make a portion of the picture stand out. Rarely does one see "sets" of these intact. Now, with the advent of e-mail, teams don't need to incur the expense of sending out envelopes of photos like this if a newspaper wants a set of headshots. ” -Dave Sosidka
