Year: 1952

Set: Bowman (Rate)

Card: #24 Carl Furillo

“ Very cool even with the crease and worn corners. It gives this vintage card some real character. ” -carthage44

“ Love the vintage stuff. This is no exception. I'll even overlook the lack of stats, as that wasn't the practice yet. ” -vrooomed

“ This is an instance where a signature on the front works well. Furillo is easily identified by all while maintaining the intended design of the card. ” -switzr1

“ Here's a question for those more knowledgeable than I : is this card standard size, or slightly larger? I think it is slightly larger. I just got some 1950s Bowman non-sports cards (1952 US Presidents and 1954 US Navy Victories) earlier this month and they are both slight larger. The US Presidents set even uses the same design as this card essentially, the only difference being a nameplate on the front. Also, it looks like he's playing baseball in a train station. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nothing like the Vintage cards! ” -BOBSCARDZ

“ Nice card, I really like the wrapper redemption offer on the back. ” -jackal726

“ Sweet! Love the old...(...er than me) stuff! ” -bkklaos

“ Wonderful card. Wish I had a few. Love the stadium in the background ” -NJdevils

“ Brooklyn Dodgers. 'Nuf said. ” -jlaz10

Interesting, thank you Joe. When it comes to baseball, I am the clueless one :)

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
