“ Had never heard of this set so I looked it up. Apparently "broder" is a generic name for unlicensed/counterfeit cards. No one is sure who produced these but apparently a bunch of similar card sets cropped up during this era. ” -ThemightyOx

“ The only picture they could get was him sitting on the bench? It would have been ironiclly funny if this was the peak of his career, but it looks like, based on what he got card wise over the ensuing years he had a pretty good career. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Did the photographer have to sneak this pic ? ” -uncaian

“ And to think, people actually would pay REAL money for junk like this! Terrible photograph and not licensed. Who actually looked at this and said, "Yeah, it looks good. Let's print it." There's a good reason Broder became the "generic" term for junky, unauthorized card. ” -vrooomed

“ Get rid of the blur on the side and center it better and it would be a really cool card ” -Hollywood42

“ Looks like the photographer was being pulled away by security while taking that pic. ” -DanD

“ Hmmm... Looks like somebody didn't get an MLB license. ” -jlaz10

“ I have to say, what a bad picture. ” -Dixxy

“ Hehe, it's the first time I see a card of a benchwarmer in action. ” -PMB
