“ If the uber-nerds' favourite card would be Data, what does that make people who liked "SCAN" best? ” -Luckynumber78

“ This isn't a very exciting card, but probably essential to gameplay. Another quick turnaround between posting and Card of the Day selection. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Seriously? ” -Young Kilo

“ Bah ha ha! Another one? Is there nothing better to grab as the random of the day? I have contributed other stuff!! ” -Dixxy

“ Why are these here? ” -Hollywood42

“ And we're back to the TNG CCG! This illustrates one of the major problems with the game. It let you look at anything your opponent (or you, but presumably you'd know where you inserted your face-down cards) put under an objective for a fixed amount of time. I get the thought process, but requiring players to monitor time limits within the game really adds unnecessary complexity. Not to mention, it underscores what I wrote last week - the game really suffers from a lack of conflict between players. This is one of the more "interactive" cards - yes, looking at things your opponent laid on the table is one of the more engaging parts of this game. Hey, what can I say? This was the mid-90s, and everyone wanted to produce the next Magic: The Gathering...and it led to some truly, truly awful games. This was one of the longer-surviving examples of that glut, owing mostly to the card quality and intellectual property. ” -UNC_Samurai

“ Wow another STCCG card. From my playing days this one was a very useful card that saw heavily usage throughout the life of the game. ” -koloth42

“ What's there to really say about 'game' cards..?? Not a big fan of Star Trek, but certainly not surprised to see cards from the series... ” -lyfestory
