I have been on TCDB for a couple of years now.
Over 200 trades and always looking for more.
Players I am collecting:
- Robin Yount - My all-time favorite player. I have a lot of older stuff (during his playing days) but missing a lot of newer stuff
- Mike Caldwell - My first favorite player
- Brady Clark - My nephew's name. Someday I can give him a collection of cards with his name on them.
I have gone back and started collecting Topps flagship sets. Also have some to finish up from before my 15 year break in collecting. Here's what I'm working on now (or will be soon):
- 1999 Upper Deck Ultimate Victory
- 1981 Topps (haven't put in my want list yet)
- 1982 Topps (haven't put in my want list yet)
If I can finish the 81 and 82 sets I will have them all from 1979-2000. Then I need to work on the 2000's and 2010's.
MY NEWEST PROJECT:
The Milwaukee Brewers recently passed 1000 players to play for the Brewers. It got me thinking that I want to collect 1 card of each player to play for the Brewers. It is a long process. I am currently at 293 players. I am slowly adding card to my wantlist.
This is my priority for each player:
- In a Brewers Uniform
- In a Pilots Uniform (only a few will qualify for this).
- In another MLB Uniform
- In a Brewers affiliate minor league uniform
- In another team's minor league uniform
- Anything else I can find
Please note that I am initially going back through Topps and Topps Update sets (and some Topps Archive and Heritage) and adding Brewer uniform cards that I don't have to my wantlist. I am adding more than one of some players but only need 1 for my collection. Once I get one, I will remove the others. I have a long way to go but I think it will be an interesting project.
I'm always willing to trade or sell. Let me know what you're interested in and I'm sure we can work something out.
