The original checklist for this 1990 Series included 19 players whose figures were never produced: Bennie Blades (Lions), Anthony Carter (Vikings), Henry Ellard (Rams), Alex Gordon (Jets), Charles Haley (49ers), Bobby Hebert (Saints), Dalton Hilliard (Saints), Erik McMillan (Jets), Chris Miller (Falcons), Frank Minnifield (Browns), Ken O'Brien (Jets), Jay Schroeder (Raiders), John Settle (Falcons), Vinny Testaverde (Buccaneers), Andre Tippett (Patriots), Al Toon (Jets), Curt Warner (Seahawks), Doug Williams (Redskins) and Steve Young (49ers). It is unknown if cards were ever produced for these players.

Five players in this 1990 Series were late replacements and are not listed on the back of the packaging: Steve Beuerlein (Raiders), Vance Johnson (Broncos), Deion Sanders (Falcons), John Taylor (49ers) and Felix Wright (Browns).
