Trivia

  • Upper Deck released a 45-card update set (numbered 451-495) that was split among five different 9-card packs, each assigned to one of five trade cards inserted randomly into Series 2 packs. TC1 (Hershiser) could be redeemed for 451-459, TC2 (Pendleton) could be redeemed for 460-468, TC3 (Santiago) could be redeemed for 469-477, TC4 (Brown) could be redeemed for 478-486, and TC5 (Jefferies) could be redeemed for 487-495.
  • Predictors League Leaders Series Two exchange set R31-R60 could only be acquired by redeeming winning Predictor R49 (Dante Bichette RBI Leader), making that half of the 60-card set extremely tough to collect.

My favorite post-1980s baseball set. I love the design. I love the photography. I love the backs. Easily my favorite Upper Deck set ever.
