- Certain series have their backs printed on either a creme or dark grey stock.
- #440 Lew Burette shows him posing as a left-handed pitcher, even though he threw righty, and the image is not reversed.

My second favorite 1950's Topps set. Although the pink backgrounds are a little disconcerting. The photos are quintessential Topps! Rates right up there with the 1957 Topps in my all time top 10! | ||
This is the first true vintage set I completed, and card #10 was my first Mantle! | ||
