- The Buster Posey Homerun Challenge Series 1 card was invalid to enter the competition due to his retirement.
- Joey Gallo hit a home run farther than 425 feet in April. However, Topps gave him a Double Down winner for May instead, a month in which he hit zero such home runs.
- In Series 1, on Mike Yastrzemski's base card and Short Print card (SP), Yastrzemski is misspelled. On these two versions of the card, they spelled his last name "Yastrzemksi".

Honestly, I don't mind a simple look. The parallels for this set are great, especially the foils. | ||
I wish Topps base set would include more relievers and less prospects that turn out to be nothing in the long run. | ||
This set is a dog. Maybe Fanatics will push the Topps line to be more creative in the card design. It looks like it is a team set of 660 cards. Very boring. | ||
