Six years since the last Star Wars Galaxy set, comes the eighth installment, which Topps promptly fumbles for several reasons. The first being that they falsely advertised the set as having 150 cards in the base set (Sell Sheet Page 2), but quietly released the set with 100 cards. The next is they introduced the dreaded "parallel cards" to what was once a pure art series, and now they pad their margins by adding filler cards that don't complete sets. Next, they do guaranteed hits of stickered autographs and either manufactured patch cards or sketch cards, and no sketchagraphs. Other things about this set that deviate from the others - they reset the numbering, whereas the previous sets had a continuation from the set before it. Additionally, there's no attribution for the art in the second half of the set.

While it's great to see new art in the set, this release falls flat on its face. I rate it 3.5/10.
