- As is fairly typical with many Hot Wheels premium lines, this product was discontinued before all of the planned cars were released, resulting is some gaps in the card numbering in the checklist.

It is interesting to note that the checklist for this set of cards does not exactly mirror the list of the die cast cars released in the series that included these cards. Several cars were released that were only ever packaged with the generic, checkered flag design, Hot Wheels Pro Racing trading card (listed herein as a single-card insert). These drivers include:

I have seen pictures of an uncut sheet of the later part of this set of cards. It included two cards of drivers that I have never been able to find any evidence that would indicate that the cars of these drivers were actually produced. I specifically left these unreleased cards out of the checklist since any example would be a 'backdoor' type item. These two cards are:
