The Standard Biscuit set actually has about 400 subjects. It is comprised of all the cards that align with m101-5 and all of those that line up with m101-4. There are 27 cards that would show the exact same photo, number and spellings between the two sets, such that one would be hard pressed to tell them apart. Finally, the 3 short-prints known to m101-5 may have Standard Biscuit backs-- Becker, #23 Cady and Wallace--suggesting that this was the first of the Mendelsohn advertising sets from 1916. | ||
