These 8x10 photos were included as supplements in the Chicago Sunday Tribune from April 4th to May 2nd. After the photo of Tinker, readers were asked to write in to vote for their favorite Chicago ballplayers to determine who would appear in the next week's issue. The initial notice of the feature stated that the feature would be run indefinitely, but was discontinued after only five weeks.

Other supplements issued included popular actors, actresses and battleships.
