Pete allowed six hits, one walk (intentional), and had twelve strike outs in that complete game shut out of the Orioles while pitching for the Blue Jays, out dueling Jim Palmer. Only Craig Swan (NYM) and Steve Rogers (MON) had a better ERA in the N.L. in 1978. |
