I don't really know why, but I was fascinated with Keith Hernandez growing up. I was determined to collect a card for every year he played. I am not quite there.

I had not been to a card show since 2005, but I attended the Enfield Card Show on February 2nd, 2019. These are the cards I added to my collection at that show. Does not include the cards from the unopened packs, the set I won as a door prize, or the cards from the box Jim gave me- all of which I looked at later. These are only the singles I purchased.

EDIT: I learned from BucCollector that it was Pedro Borbon Sr. not Jr. who crossed the picket lines. That error has been fixed.

Importance from 1 to 10

These are MLB players that once played in Negro Leagues. Historians vary on when Negro League ended but many use 1950 as a cut-off date as it was mostly barnstorm teams after that. This list considers the Negro League players of 1920-1950. Sadly, there are 8 players in which no cards exist (that I can find).

Stephane Beauregard was a seldom-used backup goaltender who spent five years in the NHL, four of them with the Winnipeg Jets. His journey in the one year away from Winnipeg almost seems too far-fetched to be true.

This is the list of the top 80 cards of the 1980's from the January 2019 issue of Becket Baseball issue #154. This list was put together by the Beckett staff.

These are Autographed in person cards from the NBA's Summer League in Las Vegas. I plan on doing this trip for years to come. This list could get big.

Cards highlighting the pitcher-catcher batteries for all 23 official perfect games and 3 unofficial ones. Most of the cards are from my collection, but I added some wantlist cards that were specific to the events. Also, couldn't find an Emil Gross card who caught John Ward's game and Ron Hassey is the only catcher to have caught 2 perfectos - who knew.

All players who have compiled 500 or more stolen bases in their careers. I chose cards in my collection and ones that show career steals stats on the reverse when possible.

Once again, this will attempt to cover everything, not just my main sports.

List of all players that have trading card that played in this league (Class D league from '56-59) For most of these players, this was their first stop in the minor leagues. I believe most cards in this set reference the Nebraska city/team on the back of card. I grew up in Kearney, NE and Kearney was the Yankees team but this was 15 years before I arrived. Love all things Nebraska!

This year I played Yahoo! Fantasy Football and finished in 4th place. Not much to brag about, but considering Yahoo! predicted I would finish in 11th out of 12 teams, I would say not bad. I finished 7-7 after a 5 game losing streak in the middle of the season. This is my final roster and not the team I initially drafted.

This is a list of the best Tiger rated by impact to the team during their tenure as a Tiger for each uniform number 1-99 (if worn). This is in my opinion of course. I've tried to add the card that shows them at or near the end of their time with the Tigers for the stats on the back which means I often chose a Topps card.

2018 marks my 30th anniversary in the hobby. To celebrate, I am going to try and get at least one new card every single day of the year. To ensure this works, I have been stashing cards for this project since 2015! I didn't get to celebrate any of my other big anniversaries since I didn't stop to count how many years I had been in the hobby until year #26. On days where I get more than one card, the first card of that day will be the card of record, shown here in this list and in a monthly wrapup on Cardboard History.

I have a major SN addiction. I love them. Whenever I get some money on COMC, I usually sort by SN and then just add as many different cards as I can before I run out of money.

I enjoyed documenting the "special" cards I got last year, so I will continue to do that. Autos were the smallest list last year, so I will be curious to see how it pans out this year.

Last year, 2017, was my first collecting the NHL. I will collect the sport for the rest of my life, but I'm still in the early stages. I already have about 2500 different players in my collection, let's see how many more I add in 2018

NBA and NASCAR only. I'm still too new to the NHL so they get their own list.

I've always had a great appreciation for players who played on one team for their entire career. The stars must align perfectly for this to happen, and here is a special list of All-Time Greats who played on one team for their career.

Baseball players that have hit for the cycle since Bowman started. Inspired by the game Christian Yelich had last night for my Brewers. Also interesting that his former team, the Marlins, have never had a player hit for the cycle. Thanks Jeter!

My autograph cards

Between the Arcade version, SNES/Sega Genius, Sega CD, Game Boy, and Game Gear there were several different rosters to NBA Jam. I tried to put together cards of those who made it including the rumored custom versions and unlockable players. Shaq and Penny were never paired together which surprised me, also players such as Dennis Rodman, Shawn Bradley, Mugsey Bogues, Kevin Willis, Steve Smith and Dell Curry aren't in any version. I did not include tournament addition in this list.
