| City Connect MLB Jerseys by Bowersbird Last updated on Oct 13, 2023 A collection of cards depicting Major League Baseball teams' "City Connect" jerseys, listed in chronological order of debut.

This is an ongoing list, as more teams debut their jerseys and Topps actually prints them on cards. I prefer using a Flagship Topps card released as close as possible to when the jersey is worn, but I often have to wait until the following year for them to appear at all. I'm willing to use cards from other sets - or even inserts - but I try to only upgrade with a much later card if it provides a clearly superior look at the uniform. Additionally, I consider any City Connect themed insert sets to be cheating for this list, so they will not be considered. I decided to select 2 cards of each team's jersey. Preferably to represent both a pitcher and a hitter, but more importantly, to get a look at as much of the uniform as possible. (Front/Back/Hat/Helmet/Sleeve patches, etc.) Preference is also given to stars or players I heavily associate with the particular team, but I'll take just about anyone if their card looks nice. For 2023 Debuts: Only have 1 of Braves, Rangers, & Orioles. Added a placeholder Reds card. Still need 2 Mariners & Pirates. (Stadium Club may pull through and help me, but I'm mostly just crossing my fingers that the 2024 Topps Elly RC has him wearing a City Connect).

| Gunny's Alpha-Pack Soup Giveaway Winnings (P, V, & W) by Bowersbird Last updated on Sep 29, 2023 This is a list of the cards I won by correctly guessing a player within three of the packs assembled by Gunny in a fun and interesting giveaway. Thanks again to him, and you can read more about the rules/other winning packs here: https://www.tcdb.com/Forum.cfm/Page/B/ID/0/?MODE=VIEW&ThreadID=44387&PageIndex=1

| 1970 Topps - Dad's Needs by Bowersbird Last updated on Sep 8, 2023 This reflects his needs as of 9-8-2023. Excellent condition or better is preferred, but I'd probably take a lower grade (but still presentable) card if the price/deal is right. I'm happy to trade cards on my FST list for these as well, but I expect that I'll end up buying more often than not. All of them should be on my wantlist to help with matches, but I also have some from this set on there for my personal wants as well.

| Joel Youngblood - PC Checklist Checklist by Bowersbird Last updated on Aug 28, 2023 All the checklists on which Joel Youngblood appears (his name must appear on the card - if he's in the team photo but not listed, it's a cameo in my other list). Not a huge collection priority for me, but the idea is fun so I'll pick one up now and then. Chances are I missed at least one, so feel free to let me know if you know that another checklist with his name on it exists.

| Galen Cisco - PC Checklist by Bowersbird Last updated on Aug 26, 2023 This is to help me keep my Galen Cisco PC cards in order. Seems easier than constantly going back to his player page or going into my collection and my wantlist to get everything in the correct order.
August 16, 2023 Update: I added 17 team cards to the end of the list. Some only list his pitching stats, but use a photo predating his time on the particular team. But some, including essentially his entire run as a Royals coach, do have Cisco in them. For now, they're an addition at the end of the main list. But I might consider either splitting them off with other cameos or just fully incorporating them to order these chronologically within the full list.

| 2019 Allen & Ginter - Mini Frankenset by Bowersbird Last updated on Jul 29, 2023 I'm not sure if this really counts as a Frankenset since it's all from the same year, but it's what I'll call it for now. Basically, I'm trying to complete a set of 2019 A&G minis where the base and any of the three main parallels can count toward the goal. I'm going to use this to keep track instead of adding every version of a card I don't have to my wantlist.
If you're looking to trade/sell any I don't have, I might be interested. My preference is as follows: Gold or Black Frame > Regular >>> A&G Back. Basically, I'm content with a regular or either framed kind - the A&G backs are fine to fill a hole, but I'm willing to trade those out for the right deal. (And any NNO, SN'ed, or other special mini is cool, but likely won't be stored as a part of the Frankenset).

| First Japanese MLB Player on Each Team by Bowersbird Last updated on Mar 7, 2023 I'm a Reds fan. When Shogo Akiyama became the first Japanese player to play as a Red, I was quite surprised to learn that the Reds were the last team to have a Japanese player suit up and play for them. I decided it would be interesting to learn who the other "firsts" were. As it turns out, most teams were late to the party. (The first was Masanori Murakami playing for 1 year in the mid-1960s and the second was Hideo Nomo in 1995 for the Dodgers with Shogo coming along in 2020).

| Best Finds from Christmas 2022 Wax Grab-Box by Bowersbird Last updated on Jan 30, 2023 Santa brought me a box of ~600 unopened junk wax cards. Both regular packs as well as a few rack packs, which I thought were extra cool to open up. Here are some of the highlights for me to look back on later.

| Joel Youngblood - PC Checklist by Bowersbird Last updated on Aug 12, 2022 This is for me to figure out and remember the order I want my Joel Youngblood cards to go into their binder pages. I'm ignoring postcards (and maybe a variant or two), so I need something better than just a list of all his cards on the site. This seemed like the best idea.

Background: I was buying some cards on eBay and only needed a few more for free shipping (or some deal like that). I picked out Joel's RC because he was a Red & I thought his name was interesting. When it arrived, I went to put it away, and discovered I had his 1990 Score card, when he was also a Red. Was he really a Red for all those years and I didn't know about him? Turns out, no! 1976 and 1989 are his only years as a Red. I was intrigued, so I did a little research. The more I learned, the more fascinated and amused by this guy I was. So, I decided to start collecting his cards. It's fun to have this ongoing quest as well as become a little more familiar with the different sets of this era. *Someone please let me know if you're aware of any cards with a Youngblood cameo or any mention of him on the backs of cards. I've found a few, but with 14 years in the majors, there's a non-zero chance there are more examples out there.*

| Pitchers Who Rake: Galen Cisco's Hits by Bowersbird Last updated on Jan 22, 2022 Ok, "rake" is maybe generous. Still, Cisco got 21 hits off 18 different pitchers during his career. Here are the cards from the opposing pitchers.

| Best Finds from November 2021 Thrift Box by Bowersbird Last updated on Nov 19, 2021 My sister gave me a large box of cards that came from a thrift shop. This list is to point out the highlights of what I'm keeping. It won't be *everything* because there are hundreds of cards. (I ended up keeping ~835 of the cards).
I just want to make this list so I can remember where the best cards came from and to help jog my memory about the sort of cards that were in this box as a whole.
