The strips came with 8 stamps plus a coupon for discounted goods on the Loblaws issue, the Acme version did not come with a coupon. There was expiry date of May 4,1975 listed on some of the coupons, others had no expiry date. On the backs of the strips (side opposite of the picture) the words "printed in Canada", "printed in USA", there is also a variation that has no information about where they were printed.

There were 324 Stamps in all. 18 teams, including the expansion Washington Capitals and the Kansas City Scouts.18 player stamps to each team. These stamps are referred to as being Loblaws, which was a large grocery chain in Canada. However, these stamps were also available from two other grocery chains: Save Easy and Acme Super Saver (U.S.A). There are 2 known variations of albums each with 96 pages. The album covers match their respective action players stamp booklets and measures 11x 9. Included within the album was a 20 player stamp starter sheet.

This set features the 18 NHL teams that existed in 1974. The California Golden Seals and Kansas City Scouts were 2 teams that would be moved before the WHA expansion in 1979. The Seals were bounced around California before moving to Cleveland and finally merging their team with Minnesota to become ONE team. Kanasa City moved their team to Colorado. There were only 17 teams in the NHL before the 1979 WHA expansion. These stickers/stamps came in 40 panels along with a page in the back of the album that featured the much sought after 4 SHORT PRINT stamps of Howatt, Charon, Johnston and Forbes. The set offered up here however, will be 324 loose stickers that are in good to nr-mint condition. Centering was always an issue with these stamps. I try as much as possible that the stamps have never been stuck in the album before. However, in trying to fill sets, there may be a few stickers in the set that look amazing on the front, but have been previously stuck in the album before.
